Why We Built This Site
Georgia permits public access to many court records, but locating the correct custodian is often the difficult part. A docket is the court's chronological record of filings, settings, and case activity. Georgia Courts E-Access directs users to participating vendors for Long Superior and State courts, but it is not a single statewide public docket. The Clerk of Superior Court keeps the official local record within that office's custody, and the separate Long County courts maintain their own records. The site brings together verified contact information, search routes, calendar guidance, and request procedures without replacing any official source.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guidance: ways to read and search Long County criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Dates and settings: routes for checking court dates and confirming an appearance with the responsible clerk
- Case lookup: how the case lookup process differs among Georgia E-Access providers and local court offices
- Record access: procedures for requesting court records, document copies, and certification
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a Georgia court, Long County office, clerk's office, or government agency. Those boundaries mean the site cannot perform official court functions:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes appearing on some pages. Each provider controls its service, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports site operation. Long County Court Docket does not set a provider's charges or determine which records its results display.
